Anti-Wrinkle Injections
After treatment, please ensure that you take it easy for the rest of the day. It is important that you follow our post-care instructions carefully:
avoid exercise for 24hrs after treatment (this can increase the risk of bruising)
avoid alcohol for the rest of the day (this can increase the risk of bruising and reduce the effects)
avoid touching or rubbing the injected area for the next 4 hours
stay upright for the next 4 hours
try to lightly exercise the injected muscles for the next few hours to help the product distribute evenly
if you notice any bruising you can apply a cold compress and arnica gel to minimise the effects
Please call the clinic if any unexpected side effects occur after your treatment. We will have a review appointment after 2 weeks to see how well the treatment has taken effect and we can also provide any top ups that are required to reach the desired result (this may come at an additional cost).
It is important that you attend your review appointment as your clinician will need to see the results of the treatment to know how best to treat you in the future. Don’t forget that it will take a few days before the first effects are noticeable and up to 2 weeks for the full effects to be seen.
Dermal Filler
After treatment, please ensure that you take it easy for the rest of the day. It is important that you follow our post-care instructions:
avoid exercise for 24hrs after treatment (this can increase the risk of bruising and also move the product to give a less even look, as well as breaking down the dermal filler)
avoid alcohol for the rest of the day (this can increase the risk of bruising and break down the dermal filler)
avoid touching or rubbing the injected areas for 24 hours. If you notice some small lumps these will settle. If you feel they are still present after 3 days you can massage them to help them settle.
avoid hot environments for 24 hours (including direct sunlight, saunas and hot baths). If you have had lip fillers, avoid hot drinks, hot food and cigarettes for 24 hours as well. Heat will contribute to breaking down the product and can leave uneven results and a shorter lasting product.
sleep on your back the night after treatment and avoid sleeping on your side to prevent uneven distribution of the dermal filler product
if you notice any bruising you can apply a cold compress and arnica gel to minimise the effects
avoid pouting of the lips as well as sucking, biting or licking lips
you may experience small lumps and swelling post treatment
uneven results can be expected due to swelling in the first few days post treatment

Please be rest assured all these symptoms will calm down however can take a few days to 2 weeks before completely settling, therefore revealing your final result.
